I am taking the next week off work. Yay! I have no plans for travel or anything special; I just need the time for myself. Sorry honey. I’ve been sick for almost two weeks and haven’t done a squat. I pulled a muscle in my side from severe coughing resulting in a lousy sleep which causes other issues. I can’t even think straight - every time I try, I either have to cough or blow my nose. At times I get so distracted I even left my phone at home today (how did we ever function without cell phones?). Pull yourself together, Jas! I am hoping to get over the cough so I can really enjoy staying home. I might even muster some nice meal for a change. Husband was so good to me and mostly took care of our meals lately (he didn’t cook, but still…we ate)
I don't like shrimp much, but Bonefish Bang Bang are so delish I can't resist. Finding this recipe was a real gem. I can have them in no time and any time I want them. Making these shrimp was no brainer and didn’t take any effort
whatsoever. I used pre-breaded frozen, the jumbo pop-corn shrimp. Don’t judge. Occasionally, girl
gotta do what girl gotta do. And girl got to use ready shrimp this time. While
they were baking in the oven I made the sauce. Yes, I baked them instead of deep frying them; I still have
some dignity left. Husband says he likes these better than the ones from Bonefish,
ha.
